Benefits of Physical Rehabilitation
Studies show that intensive interdependent therapy sessions can greatly reduce the amount of time needed for recovery. Physical therapy utilizes exercise and equipment to assist individuals in the recovery of range of motion, strength, coordination, balance, and flexibility. Occupational Therapy consists of a wide variety of activities that are designed to increase daily life functionality. Speech Therapy provides treatments that improve communication, understanding, and swallowing ability.

Bell Trace is very happy to have partnered with Accelerated Care Plus (ACP) in order to offer our patients the absolute best in modern physical therapy equipment. The medical devices used in ACP’s programs are called "Therapeutic Modalities." These proven devices include Electrical Stimulation, Therapeutic Ultrasound, and Shortwave Diathermy. By decreasing pain, inflammation, and edema: Therapeutic Modalities increase patient comfort and tolerance to treatment.
ACP's new OmniVR is the world's first virtual rehabilitation system designed specifically for the needs of geriatric patients and more medically complex conditions. This easy-to-use technology improves exercise participation, repetition and duration by re-creating the patient's movements in 3-D, real-time interactive experience. Research has shown that treatment outcomes generated by virtual reality rehabilitation can match or exceed those from real world activities and exercises. These benefits may result from the enhanced feedback, motivation and repetitions that occur among patients exercising in virtual reality.

How do I start the conversation?
Contact our admissions team to start a referral or arrange for a tour. They are available 7 days a week via telephone or in person. Our knowledgeable staff can assist you with placement questions, insurance pre-certification, transportation arrangements to and from our Center, and many other tasks so that you can focus on your recovery and attaining the restoration of your independence.
