Get Smart – Habitat for Humanity

Please RSVP by Monday, June 19!

Join us at Bell Trace in Bloomington on Thursday, June 22 from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm for a complimentary lunch and discussion about Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County.

In Monroe County, a person earning minimum wage must work 72 hours every week of the year to afford a two-bedroom apartment. In a county where 1 in 5 people are living in poverty, unaffordable housing holds our community back from being a place that families can call “home”.

Habitat for Humanity’s mission is to eliminate poverty housing by building simple, decent, affordable homes in partnership with qualifying families.

Come learn how Habitat has impacted Monroe County through their dedicated volunteer network and partnership with the Bloomington community. Learn about the families they have helped and how they contribute to the construction of their own home. See how Habitat not only impacts us locally, but also internationally. Find out how you can get involved as a volunteer, a donor or as a citizen.

RSVP by June 19 to or call 812-332-2355.
