Get Smart – What Does a Real CIA Officer Actually Do?

Join us the fourth Thursday of every month at “Get Smart”. Get Smart is a great opportunity to enjoy a wonderful complimentary lunch and learn something new! Get Smart is open to anyone 55 and older.

This month’s topic “What Does a Real CIA Officer Actually Do?” will be presented by Gene Coyle, Retired CIA Spy, former IU Professor and author on Thursday, March 28 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.

How do Hollywood’s Jason Bourne, Jack Ryan  and other fictional characters stack up to the real-life CIA spy? Gene Coyle pulls back the curtain to give us an inside view of the life of a CIA officer. Dead drops, recruiting spies, gathering intel; Gene spent over 30 years as a CIA officer with over 14 years in countries ranging from Russia & Kyrgzstan to Brazil & Greece. This conversation is one you don’t want to miss!

RSVP by Tuesday, March 26 to kadams@cardon.us or call 812-332-2355.
